From joining a Mont Blanc guided walk in the French mountains to hiking and biking in Andorra, Europe walking tours are no fleeting trend. As millions traverse its age-old cobbled streets, they discover a continent stitched together with stories, culture, and landscapes. Get to know Rome as you explore the Fontana di Trevi all the way to the Colosseum; walk from Piazza della Signoria to Oltrarno in Florence; and explore the romantic boulevards of Paris, with attractions like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. To take in the rustic charm and natural splendor of Europe, there are walking tours of the Dachstein Alps in Austria and the islands and mountains in Croatia. We had the good fortune to arrive the week after Easter following the rainy spring. The whole area was covered in a stunning array of wildflowers. The hikes were great - not too much or too little and the accommodations just perfect!

Great selection of accommodation, good accompanying notes, great support - it was brill but the highlight was the confidence we had after a couple of days that our luggage was there in really well chosen accommodation.

We recently completed 6 days of walking along the Dale's Way path in the Yorkshire Dales area of Great Britain and they did a brilliant job making all the arrangements. There were a few glitches with the mobile App that was set up for our trip but with the map backups there was no real issue. The accommodations were all good to great, and it should be noted that if you don't heed their advice and book a table for dinner in certain restaurants, there won't be a table available. They did everything except guarantee the weather. Also note that if you're booked into the Winderemere Park Hotel in Windermere at the end of the Dales Way walk, it is a fair climb up the hill from Bowness, but there is a regular bus route that runs along the road. That would have been better than another uphill walk, and good information to have. All-in-all, a great trip and we were extremely happy with both Walkers Britain, and ourselves for making the trip.

They did a great job in preparing us for our 6 day / last 100km trek on the Camino de Santiago. Information was timely and accurate. Lodging was very good as were the dinners/breakfasts each day.

The Hike/Barge trip across Scotland was wonderful. The barge was very comfortable and the staff knowledgeable and friendly. We all interacted like family. The food was amazing and a real surprise. There was a choice of hikes most days depending on how challenged you wanted to be or if you wanted to take it easier. It was also very comfortable to just stay on the barge if you wanted a half day or full day off hiking. The hikes were beautiful.

Information provided about each day's walking was comprehensive, up to date and easily accessible. Directions to accommodation were generally good but in some cases not 100% accurate. In those cases we had to rely on signs or trial and error. Baggage transfers were all fine and those wanting a day off could be taken to the next stop with the bags.
