Europe October 2025 Tour Reviews
100% satisfaction guaranteed
I had such a great time! I'm so glad I went to Sicily with G and grateful to Matteo and the others in our group. It was lots of fun!
We recently embarked on the Spain & Portugal bus tour, overall, it provided a decent travel experience considering its price. Here are the highlights of my journey. One of the highlights of the tour was the wonderful group of people I had the pleasure of traveling with. The camaraderie and friendly atmosphere among fellow travelers made the trip enjoyable and memorable. Interacting with people from different backgrounds and sharing experiences added a delightful dynamic to the journey. The tour leader, was generally pleasant and approachable. However, I did feel that he could have made a bit more effort to provide us with interesting facts and insights about the places we visited. A knowledgeable and engaging tour leader can greatly enhance the travel experience, and I believe he missed an opportunity to truly captivate the group with his commentary. Unfortunately, the quality of some of the hotels on the tour left something to be desired. Several accommodations were quite basic and located a fair distance away from the city centers. While I understand the need to keep costs down, I would have preferred to pay a bit extra for more comfortable and better-located accommodations. That being said, the tour did offer several positive aspects. The itinerary covered a good selection of Spain and Portugal's highlights, allowing us to experience the rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning landscapes of both countries. From the architectural marvels of Barcelona to the ancient charm of Lisbon, there were plenty of memorable moments to cherish. Moreover, the tour price itself was reasonable, considering the number of destinations covered and the duration of the trip. For those looking for an affordable way to explore Spain and Portugal, this tour offers a decent value for money. In summary, the Spain & Portugal bus tour had its share of positives and negatives. The wonderful group of people and the chance to visit remarkable destinations were definite highlights.
I was fascinated by the historical sites of Istanbul, especially the Blue Mosque, which I didn't know much about before coming here. When I discovered this magnificent mosque with the guide, I felt that this was the highlight of the Istanbul part of the tour. Apart from Istanbul, I was very impressed by the Home of Virgin Mary in Kusadasi. I feel very lucky to have visited this blessed building. It was a comprehensive tour with important itineraries. The quality of the guide and driver was top notch, so it was an adventure full of beautiful moments for me.
This is a fantastic, well organised trip. If you enjoy cycling and don't mind putting in some effort to get up a few tricky hills, you will be rewarded with beautiful scenery and lovely food. We had a mixed group of cyclists, some of whom were doing their first cycling holiday and I think everyone enjoyed it. The organisation and encouragement of our tour leader Michele Q and his assistant Ado helped to make this a really memorable trip.
Trip was great as a taster of Europe. It has let me see areas that I want to go back to. Although time is limited, Topdeck does a great job in maximizing the time in each location. We had bad luck with weather on this trip as it was mostly cold an miserable at every stop. But I’m Canadian so it was still better than home in February.
This trip really packs in a lot into a week, giving you a taster of the best locations in and around Naples and the Amalfi Coast. There is not much scope for relaxation or quiet time, but you do get to visit a wide range of places. The trip is described as "leisurely" but we found The Walk of the Gods hard going and it took its toll on our joints. The ascent to the crater of Vesuvius is not easy either: steep and heavy underfoot. It is a full-on itinerary and we were glad of our decision to extend the trip by a week to relax at the hotel.
