I joined this itinerary in April 2025 and was utterly blown away by the locations visited. Matera was stunning, Lecce's winding streets were beautiful with gems hidden round every corner, We stayed in a traditional Trulli house which was a personal highlight for me!
We had an incredible time. Portugal and Spain were both amazing with interesting history, stunning scenery, great people and awesome food. The G Adventures tour was the perfect itinerary, with comfortable and clean accommodation and a good balance of group/solo time. The highlight was our incredible CEO Vanesa, who made the experience effortless and fun.
I loved the itinerary! Saw so much in a week and at the same time did not feel rushed. I felt there was enough time to explore the highlights of the region. I enjoyed exploring Matera and Polignano a Mare. The lunch on day 5 was delicious - one of the best meals I have had in Italy. The coastal walk was lovely as well in Otranto. The places we stayed were so unique. I loved the Trulli house in Alberobello. I also loved the group and sharing the experience with like-minded people.
Hi Stefania! Sorry to take so long to write back. It has been crazy trying to get back into the swing of things at work after that trip. Italy was amazing!! We absolutely loved it! As for feedback on the trip, we really don't have anything that was negative. We loved everything that was planned! We especially loved how you planned the sites that we went and how the pattern flowed (not sure if you did it on purpose but we think so). Also, thank you for being very accessible to us during the whole planning of the trip. You helped put us at ease and it was very reassuring that we chose the right company. That is all that I can given you that might be considered constructive. The rest I could say would just be compliments on everything else. This tour with some surprise stops definitely highlighted Portugal. I love that there is always the desire to support local and family run establishments. That's very important to me. I was in constant awe of my surroundings when exploring on my own or with the CEO. Our CEO Iri was definitely the backbone of the tour.
The vast timeline of history on this trip was truly amazing. Many of the archeological sites we visited were in breathtaking locations. I was in awe the entire tour. Even the times we were driving from one location to the next was amazing as the landscape is so beautiful.
